Board Criteria
Our Board of Directors consists of 6 members appointed by the municipalities within our region and 6 members at large.
All potential board members are presented to the existing board with a brief backgrounder for approval. Preference is given to applicants with experience in business/entrepreneurship or agricultural business. Preference is also given to appointed Directors who are elected officials and not employees of the municipality.
No Director shall be elected to the Board for more than nine consecutive years.
On an annual basis, the Board will elect an Executive Committee comprised of a Chair, Vice-Chair, and Treasurer from amongst the Members generally.
